… About …

... the concept ...

The crazy, disjointed, rambling, and inconsistent retelling of a lifelong crazy, disjointed, rambling, and inconsistent adventure from the first-person perspective… I was the first person to experience it, after all.
It was a completely unrehearsed, unscripted, and unexpected adventure that I am happy to share with any who drop by…

Until that time. . . Earl J.

Born on Valley Isle,
Home now North Carolina;
Aloha y’all. . .!

  1. Aloha! Happy New Year. I just reviewed a piece you did for my Uncle Mike Kalua. Your story made me tear. I know that his family is comforted knowing that he will never be forgotten. Much love for your kind and loving moments with my dear Uncle Mike. Aloha No!

      • Thanks for asking about advncae reservations, Tammy. You raise a good question, because each succeeding luau in the first month was better attended than the one before. One of these weeks we might just sell out. To purchase advncae tickets and guarantee your admittance please call (702) 440-6945. Prices are currently $24 plus tax for adults. VIP reserved seating is $35 plus tax for adults. Children under 10 are $14 and kids under 3 get in free. You can pick up your tickets at the front desk when you check in. We look forward to seeing you!

  2. I went through SF training with an Earl J Moniz in 1969. We were stationed on the hill in 6th SF group. I was sent to the 5th group and was diverted to the 25th inf. were I served in an Airborne Ranger company. Are you that Earl J Moniz and do you remember a Tom Schommer.

    • Thanks Patrick. . .
I’m glad you enjoy it. . . I need to add a few more items of an educational nature, I think. . .
perhaps a video here and there. . . whadyathink?

Until that time … Earl J.

  3. Hi! I thought you might be interested in seeing how I adapted your caveman presentation to work with my students, but I can’t find an email for you so that I can attach the presentation and the bookmark I created. If you would like to receive these two files, email me, and I will reply with the files attached.

    Thanks for posting your work!

  4. Hi EarlJ!

You’ve been very busy again! The coconut wireless
buzz is that the 2011 reunion is in Vegas. It was decided at the reunion in 08. I wasn’t there, but I’ve heard.

    • Thank you for taking time to cmnemot, Nicole. We’re glad you enjoy the luau. You are among the legion of owners and guests who don’t want it to end. It was due to an outpouring of requests that we extended the luau an extra two weeks, to Sept. 24. The weather is still ideal for an outdoor function, but by the time you arrive, in November, we fear the cold would compromise your enjoyment of a traditional summer event (to say nothing of the girls in the grass skirts). We never like to say never, but at this point an extension into winter seems unlikely. We’re sorry your work commitments prevent a summer visit, but we want you to know we’re always looking into winter events for our visitors to enjoy.
